The market for temporary air-conditioning solutions is fast-paced as market players are often required to resolve emergency situations right away. Delays can quickly turn catastrophic, for instance if a fixed cooling installation fails in a server room of a financial institution or a similar critical environment.

Dutch Dryfast knows how to accommodate to those requirements with its portfolio of mobile air-conditioners which came to include Dantherm’s sturdy ACT 7 mobile air-conditioning unit a few years ago.

“Before founding Dryfast, I worked for an international supplier of mobile air-conditioners for around two decades. They sold many Dantherm Group solutions, so I knew the quality of their products, services and support very well before deciding to become a business owner myself”, Gerrit Van Der Kooij kicks off the conversation about his company and why they have included Dantherm’s ACT 7 mobile air-conditioner, sibling to the known PAC 22, in the portfolio of products and solutions they’re offering professionals of the Dutch and Belgium construction, rental and water damage and leak-detection industries.

The ACT 7 is mostly used for emergency situations requiring immediate cooling. Therefore, many hire and rental companies that use the ACT 7 build up their own stock to make sure they can meet the demand during the peak season – summer time – when many technicians are away on holiday and it might prove difficult to find one who can repair an inoperative fixed installation. In addition, the installation companies are sometimes contractually obliged to solve cooling issues within a given time slot to prevent down-time.

“Combined, these things call for a reliable solution that’s easily applied in any environment”, Gerrit adds. “I usually just bring an ACT 7 when I visit clients, so they can check the look and feel of the unit on their own. Many of them use the renowned PAC 22 as a reference point for its superb performance and 10-12 years of real life time, twice the industry average. Conceptualised and produced by the same manufacturer, they can expect a similar performance from ACT 7. And of course, it helps when they discover how easy it is to install and operate using the great instructional manuals”, he ends.
