Dantherm GmbH and Trotec GmbH today announced that Dantherm GmbH has been merged with Trotec GmbH with retroactive effect from 1 January 2024.

The merger of the two companies belonging to the Dantherm Group not only optimises our business processes, but also offers you as a customer considerable advantages through expanded market channels, a larger product range and an improved technology platform. As part of the ongoing consolidation process in the Dantherm Group, we will be carrying out a further name change to Dantherm Group GmbH at the end of the year.

The site of the former Dantherm GmbH in Norderstedt is now a Trotec GmbH operating site.

The business relationship existing between the former Dantherm GmbH and customers will be transferred to Trotec GmbH by operation of law as part of the merger with retroactive effect from 1 January 2024 by way of universal succession in accordance with Section 20 (1) no. 1 of the German Reorganisation Act (Umwandlungsgesetz). Customers do not need to take any action.

All existing contractual relationships with the former Dantherm GmbH will be continued unchanged by Trotec GmbH. Moreover, the merger will not affect daily operations and the current customer contact setup at the Dantherm GmbH location in Norderstedt in any way.
