- Heating and air purification in the plastics industry
Production procedures in the plastics processing industry require particularly efficient heaters as well as air purifiers. We offer the right products.
Hardening by high temperatures
During tempering, glass fibre composites are produced with epoxy resins and must be heated to temperatures of approx. 75°C for hardening. For this purpose a special heater for particularly high temperatures should be used, e.g. the Heylo electric heater DE 20 SH. This lightweight, easily transportable heater can generate blow-out temperatures of up to 140°C and can also be equipped with a 5-metre-long high-temperature hot-air hose for even more targeted use of the heat. In addition to heaters, temperature or time controls are also required for tempering. These can be offered on a customer-specific basis.
Dust extraction by air cleaners
The finished plastic components are sanded and finished. This produces considerable amounts of dust, which poses a health hazard and greatly impairs visibility. Mobile air cleaners, which are operated with different filters, are used for dust extraction. The Heylo PowerFilter 3500 high-performance air purifier can be used very flexibly: on the one hand, it can extract dust at up to three workplaces simultaneously by connecting hoses, and on the other hand, HEPA filters for pollutants and mould spores can be exchanged in addition to coarse and fine dust filters.
Hot components must be cooled before further processing. Transport fans can be used for better ventilation and cooling acceleration. Dantherm Group offers various fans in different performance classes.
