Mergers created the Dantherm Group

Dantherm Group was established in January 2016, as Procuritas, a Swedish private equity fund, acquired the Danish company Dantherm.

Dantherm has a long history as a leading European manufacturer of dehumidifiers, ventilation units, heating and cooling units for mobile camps and electronics cooling solutions for the telecom industry.

A few weeks later, Procuritas acquired Calorex. The leading British manufacturer joined what was now effectively the Dantherm Group. The merger strengthened the group's product range and market position for dehumidifiers, and introduced new products like heat pumps for commercial and swimming pool segments.

The group expanded further in September 2016 with the acquisition of the Swiss company Schönmann.

Expansion continued in 2017

In February 2017, the Italian company Master Climate Solutions joined the Dantherm Group. This brought an increased focus and presence on the mobile heating market to the group.

In May 2017, Dantherm Group acquired the Danish company Water Surveillance specialising in intelligent monitoring systems for climate control products.

Dantherm Group significantly strengthened its market position in Germany in September 2017, when the German company Aerial became part of the group. This acquisition further reinforced the group's expertise in mobile dehumidification and water damage restoration.
